Since the establishment of Sangsin EDP in 1985, Sangsin Group holds the world’s top-level position in the Secondary Battery Parts Industry. Sangsin’s CAN parts have been applied to Electric Vehicles and Energy Storage Systems which are considered as core technologies in the 4th Industrial Revolution. With our core technology, Sangsin Group has been able to secure business bases in China, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Sangsin Indiana will be the first branch opened for Sangsin Group in the United States. Sangsin Group is becoming a global company that realizes dreams and provides value to our customers through our top-level technology. Producing more than 10 products, Sangsin Group has secured product competitiveness based on skilled technological know-how.

Sangsin Indiana Inc, established in 2023, is a branch of Sangsin EDP, a South Korean company who specializes in the manufacturing of secondary battery cans. Sangsin Indiana Inc has come to the states to support the Star Plus Energy Battery Plant, a joint venture from Stellantis and Samsung SDI. We have a rich history with Samsung and have supported their business needs for over 40 years.  Although this is our first US based plant, we have seven other manufacturing plants worldwide located in South Korea, China, Malaysia, and Hungary. Our Kokomo plant will be manufacturing a product which we call a Prismatic Can. Our product, made entirely of aluminum, will serve as the casings for electric vehicle batteries.
